new construction in front of Paris

I don't know why, but Harrahs has decided to rip off most of the front of
Paris in order to build a new Sugar Factory store/restaurant (similar to
Cheesecake Factory apparently), which means they also removed the beautiful
fountain that was in front. Seems dumb to me to spend all that money and
possibly deface one of the nicer looking casinos in Vegas, when they have
plenty of room to build something in front of Bally's, including the extra-wide
sidewalk in front of the parking garage. Or you could build and replace
the Carnival Court and those carts in front of Harrah's with some good
eateries and bars. ?? And they are apparently planning to put stores and
restaurants down that alley between Flamingo and O'Sheas eventually.

I agree. Whatever they put there will be ugly compared to before. Also, it's a disgrace what's been done to the front of Ceasars Palace. I'm not sure if Harrahs is to blame for that, or was it done before HARRAHS. What a mishmosh of junk.
Yet all that dead space in front of Ballys is still there. It's such a long way to get into the building. On another note, we always have a good laugh walking on the sidewalk and seeing the Monorail Entrance sign. People have no idea how far away it is.

I agree with both of you, but would trade it all for 9/6 JOB at the dollar level or 3, 5, 10 play 9/6 JOB quarters in any LV Harrah's property!
