I'm out of the loop on this one. Does it affect Circus Circus Vegas
only? I've got some history at Circus Reno, and just one afternoon of
play at Circus Vegas. When I last played in Reno, I was surprised to
see that my comps/cashback from Vegas couldn't be transferred. If
Vegas is changing the name of its slot club... will it make any
difference?Thanks for any info.

Here is how I saw it from a Laughlin perspective: Once upon a time there
were 10 One Club casinos including the Colorado Belle and the Edgewater.
Mandalay Resort Group (MSG) and the One Club got bought by MGM/Mirage. MGM/Mirage
incorporated the primary Vegas joints one at a time into their Player's Club.
In July 2006 the announcement came that the Laughlin properties would be
morphing from the One Club. You had to burn up balances by Dec 31st. In limbo
was the word after this date, but normal marketing comps were still in effect,
like 5 nights and comped food cards for strong players through June 2007.
Marnell-Sher bought the Laughlin properties and as of June 27th a new "Access
Card" kicked-in...no more One Club.
This left the One Club with two Circuses (LV and Reno) only. So I guess
MGM/Mirage still owns both (no sales news) and possibly might introduce another
MGM/Mirage stand-alone slot card, like Railroad Pass casino, which they got when
buying MSG.
