New CB/EW merged slot club

I’m not sure what determines the new (5) tier levels, but here’s a link to most of the details on the ‘new’ slot club:

Basic cb/comp rate still the same $1/500 pts, $2/pt in vp, $1/pt in slots, so base 0.1% on any vp play.
Unfortunately, not much playable vp anymore at these properties, and even Laughlin in general (except for the Aquarius), and maybe a few games in other properties might be considered worthwhile.

If anyone has more info on what amt of play (and whether it’s worth it) to achieve each new tier level status, that might be beneficial to some (locals). I think with the restriction / re-eval every 6 month play period as listed on the link (Jan - June/June - Dec) each year, will make it harder for out-of-towner to maintain a higher tier level, unless they are frequent (monthly) visitor/player.

Thanks for your report, M. Too bad the casino doesn't offer more info on tier levels.

The owners of the CB/EW recently purchased the Nugget in Sparks. It looks like there are changes with the slot card system to merge the Laughlin and Sparks properties.

It looks like this site has very little activity and I am sorry to see that. I used to be a poster here, but times have changed. The VP in Laughlin has sure gone down hill from the boom days and the times when I made many trips south. I live 500 miles from Laughlin and it just make no sense for me to make the long trip anymore.

I live not too far way from Reno and Lake Tahoe. The VP in these markets is still strong and it is a lot easier for me to make a short 2 night visit to take advantage of the good video poker in the area.

I see no reason to visit Laughlin anymore other than for old time nostalgia. I will say that I have received offers for flights from close by cities to Harrah’s Laughlin, but I have declined all of these offers.

Good luck to all my fellow VP players.
