Nevada Trespass law works like this; Metro takes your picture twice , gives
a red card with your name on it to security with one copy of the picture and
tells them if this guy comes back call us and we'll arrest him. The trespass
citation lasts 6 months then you can in theory come back again and not get
arrested.
However I've had the assistance of Metro in a burglary suspect on the roof
of a building I was guarding who turned out to be a homeless guy sleeping there
being told by Metro if he came back on the property he'd be arrested. With
three Metro cops pointing their lazer pistol sites at the fellow he was asked
"What are you doing up there?" It was a church and he said "I'm seeking
sanctuary." Metro took a picture of him and told him he'd be arrested if he
returned. They didn't say six months and didn't tell him he was formally
trespassed, but he was.
Security threatening you with arrest is just not how it works.

p.s. Don't worry about the Joker's disappearing. I entered EC once from the
parking lot and noticed a long line of homeless looking bums lined up. I saw
they were waiting for Roberta's Cafe to open... customers.

Me too? The last time I visited El Cortez, I was escorted by security
to my car in the parking garage and told if I returned I would be
arrested.
