New bar open at Ramada

I just returned from Laughlin, and I did check out the new bar. The
VP is poor, but the drinks are great. They will comp their $6.95
signiture drinks to the quarter VP player. Watch out though-- those
drinks are very strong. I also wanted to recommend Casa Serrano at
the Riverside West. I have had dinner there twice now, and I am
impressed with the quality of the food, and the resonable prices. A
similar combination dinner purchased locally is also twice the price.
Others must agree, as there was a waiting list already at 5PM last
night.

I too went over to check out Ramada Express. You need to get new slot club
cards, the ones with holes are obsolete. This new bar has a fake marble bartop
and plenty of room. When I inquired about comping the menu speciality drinks
the bartender said no, YMMV. What was discovered is unique to
Laughlin...Bass Ale and Guinness Stout on tap served in frosty pints. The Game Kings
bartops had 98% games (7/5 Bonus, 9/6/5 DB). The plasma TVs are right above one
side of the bar, but they only have basic cable.

I did not check around too much but the Sigmas are still around, the Cash
King Checkers, the Bonus where sevens pay triple.
