New AQ club levels...

From this week's Laughlin Entertainer.

If ANYONE has more details on what coin-in makes a 'tier pt.', that would be helpful.

Last month, briefly, I was playing .25 100% games at $4/pt, and 2400 pts. garnered a whopping $1 cb. Comps rate unknown.

Here's the article on the revamped slot club:

The Aquarius Casino Resort has restructured and revamped their former A.C.E. Rewards Players Club into a sleeker and more player friendly club called ace l PLAY. One of the main differences in the new club is the incorporation of popular "tier" rewards found within many casino clubs. What the "tier" formula does is it allows players to reach for higher categories of play, and thus, higher rewards, better bonuses and VIP treatment.

There are three colored players cards to denote levels within the club:

* Blue-first/basic level; start earning points and comp dollars (does not expire);

* Green-second level; after you've earned 100 tier credits; gets player 2X points multiplier with play (has expiration date on card);

* Red-after you've earned 250 tier credits; gets player 3X points multiplier with play (has expiration date on card).

All levels receive food discounts and allow player to earn points and comp dollars at the same time. Points can be redeemed for cash back or comps.

It should be noted that all former members of the A.C.E. Rewards Club still have their points and comps on their accounts. They can simply go to the ace l PLAY center on the main casino floor to get their new cards.

GIFTS...

To help launch the new players club, the Aquarius is offering "Gifts Worth Getting" promotion, through November 30. During this time, players can accumulate points through play in the regular way at slots, video poker and electronic keno-but they can then redeem them for gift items from a special "Gifts Worth Getting" catalog. And the points don't disappear. They remain in the player's account.

The catalog is extensive with 22 categories of gifts and more than 600 items. These can range from steam irons to chess sets; from binoculars to sewing machines; from circular saws to kayaks; from golf vacations to complete home entertainment sets; from mp3 players to diamond bracelets; from....well, you get the idea. From soup to nuts...batteries included.

Players qualify for the different value of the gifts based on accumulated points. These are in tiers from 5,500 points to 1,000,000 (see the diamond bracelet above). Players can select one gift or multiple gifts based upon the accumulation of points.

Orders for the gifts can be placed through December 31, 2009 (though points earned for these gifts ends on November 30). You can preview the gifts by perusing the catalog at the ace l PLAY center within the casino or online via home computer from a link on the Aquarius website at www.theaquarius.com.

See the club for details on shipment of gifts and any qualifications.

"The `Gifts Worth Getting' promotion is our way of thanking our loyal ace l PLAY members," states Sean Hammond, vice president of marketing and player development for the Aquarius. "Players are able to accumulate points that will allow them to select their gifts from a whole catalog of great products, including electronic items and jewelry. What's more amazing is that they will keep their points."

For complete details on the new ace l PLAY club and its benefits and tier structure, see the club center within the main casino.
