Nevada Trip report

Formerly Sachem wife went to Nevada for 5 nights last week.
Offers:
$600 Bounceback from Hilton plus tourney worth $100.
Tourney was for $50K. Supposed to have been 250 people but
,as usual, there were over 400.

Caesars - Tommy Bahama Watch which she really likes and claims its
worth $200 but let's say $100. In and out of the joint.

Main Street Station - Triple points and $100 Freeplay.

Aquarius $100 and double points.

Total offers almost $1K so worth going.

Arrived Main Street Station after renting car at airport.
Two nights played FP DB lost $1K

Went to Ceasars and picked up watch

Two nights at Hilton played FP 2PR Joker (99.9%). Results lost $3K

One night at Aquarius in Laughlin, Nevada played FP DB with
progressive on Royal and Aces. Results broke even. She really likes.
the Aquarius. She really likes Laughlin. Her host was James (Baci)
Bacigallupo (really). First stay there and he comped everything.
Room was O.K. and Carl Ichan is putting a lot of money into the place.
Laughlin was our favorite gambling spot as you can spend a few hours
each day touring awesome desert country at Sunset/Sunrise. Aquarius
keeps that available to us with this available fair game (for now).

Bottomline
She left Boston with $5K came back with $2K plus a WATCH!!!! and a
little container of cheese and a laser level gizmo for hanging
pictures. The $800 cash/freeplay helped a little bit. She played 30K
hands so not quite a royal cycle.

We have been taking day trips to Laughlin from your house in Vegas for
the past couple years. I agree Laughlin is likeable. Have played at
Harrahs on the .10c 50 play 9/6 JOB with both my wife and I earning
Diamond in a Day. This is useful for Diamond lounge access when
showing guests around the Vegas Strip. Too bad there is little
playable at the Harrahs casinos in Vegas though. Off to Vegas in a
month, hope it cools down. Meanwhile enjoy "Hot Summer Fun" at MS
everyone.

Laughlin is also - how would you put it? - smaller than Vegas.
Casino's are less crowded. You are a big fish in a small pond.
In general, people are friendlier although we have good friends
Vegas as well as Bullhead City.
Sometimes we visit the Desert Palms housing construction at 95 and
highway to Laughlin/BH. A home there would be about an hour to
Henderson while 20 minutes to Laughlin. Nevermind, Laughlin Town is
only 5 minutes from the casinos

As I don't frequent bingo halls or Fla. early bird specials,
Laughlin is one of the few places I can fantasize that I bring down
the average age. Unfortunately, the other place is bridge tournaments
where too few youngsters participate. Probably hooked on gambling,
poker, etc.; my kids were turned off by smoking before it was barred
but have no problem patronizing smoking casinos.
