I stopped by Nevada Palace last night to cash out my slot club
cashback before their February 29th closure. They have a sign at the
slot club that reports your points will be doubled if you sign up for a
new Cannery East slot card and transfer your remaining Nevada Palace
balance. Since I had a small balance and figured it is probably a good
deal, I went ahead and did so. (Perhaps points will be worth 1/2 their
current value and make the transfer a wash.) When you sign up for the
new Cannery East slot club card, you get to choose from a small
selection of gifts like T-shirts, fanny packs, commerative coins, etc.
Boothlings said I would be mailed the new slot club card and that
Cannery cards will not work there when they open. Whether this means a
seperate slot club for each Cannery or just new slot club technology,
I'm not sure.
