Need some more "spice" in my nickel VP play....

Hi All,

I have been playing VP for about 4 years (still waiting on my first
royal -- grrrr) and I've mastered JoB and (to a degree) FPDW and
NSUD, and I know (pretty much) where they're available at the nickel
level, thanks to this group.

Now I need more help. I'm looking for other games, around or above
the 98-99% level, which might be a little more volatile than JoB, but
offer better intermediate payouts. I just feel like, when I play JoB,
that if I don't hit the royal, the session will be a loser. I'd like
to find these games at places that are reasonably easy to get to, and
that might offer some mailers to super-low-rollers like myself.

As an example,I played Bonus Deluxe at Sunset Station, but the
paytables at the nickel level were horrible (95-96%). I got
slaughtered due to a horrendous quad drought for three days. I'd like
to find something like Bonus Deluxe with a decent (most people on
here would say 98-99% isn't decent, but I'd be happy with it)
paytable at the nickel level.

I guess I'm rambling some in this post, but I think alot of
the "lower" plays, especially at the nickel level aren't posted here,
because I'm sure there's little interest from the regulars in playing
them. I'm wondering if people out there know some plays that may have
fallen thru the cracks, so to speak.

Thanks,

Dave

Sure. Try Double Double Bonus. On the same machines at Fiesta and
Station Casinos where you find nickel FPDW you'll find 10/6 DDB ---
which returns 100.07%. It's volatility is more than twice that of JoB.

I apologize that it doesn't meet your 98%-99% criteria.

I would suggest playing at Fiesta Henderson.

They have three Optimum Play machines with FPJW, FPDW in 5c, 10c, 25c
denomination. They also have plenty of other Optimum Play machines with
5c FPDW and 10/7 DB.

Fiesta Henderson also sends out mailers with room offers (1 night), free
play, and 3X point coupons.

Nice shot, Bob (or is your real name Dick?). This is precisely the
reason that we have so many lurkers and not so many posters on this
board. If you read my post, and it's obvious you didn't, I
specifically asked for plays that are not in the database -- simply
because traveling to Stations/Fiestas without a car is a pain, and
isn't necessarily worth my vacation time.

I guess I should have been more specific. I'm looking for easy-to-
get-to (as in, Strip, close off-strip and downtown) plays. As
someone emailed me earlier, 9/7 DB comes to mind. But anyway, thanks
for the info, Bob, you got your jab into yet another who doesn't
post much around here.

To everyone else who responded, a hearty thanks! for the answers.
Keep 'em coming.

All info is welcome, even from those who feel the need to feign
superiority while sponging off of their wives' bankrolls.

Dave,

I really hope you get that first royal soon ! Followed by many more. That will add some spice . I remember how thrilling my first royal was.

Sorry that I can't help with your question but I'm not a local or a regular to Vegas.

  Good luck to you.

9/6 DDB at the Plaza - at least 4 MG/MD $.05/$.10/$.25/$1 machines
facing the snack bar near the sportsbook bar. They also have 9/6 JOB
and NSUD. To the right of them is an oval bank of 10-coin progressive
DDB in nickels that I believe are 9/6 also.
