Need Locals Help Please

I will be staying one maybe two nights in the Black Hawk area the week of Oct 11. I play at the $1 level and hope to make the most out of my play including cash back. I am currently comped at the Century Casino based on a short time I played there last month. Century's games are not bad and have 2X cash back on Mondays, my question is there some other casino in the Black Hawk area better for my play? I play at about 600 hands per hr and normally play about 6 to 8 hrs per day.

I have a condo in Vegas and play and know the casinos well there, if any of you need info in Vegas I will be happy to help. Thank You toyman

Toyman,
The Isle of Capri has some of the better games in Black Hawk. There is a large video poker section in the main casino near the buffet, unless they moved the machines again. I have not had a chance to go up there for a while. The other fairly good casino is Lady Luck. The good video poker machines are downstairs.
Good luck and royals to everyone,
VPhearts

Thank you very much for reply. I did see the games listed in VP free when I was there last month, but could not find any of the FP games. Maybe they have removed them. In addition to FP video ( I know they do not have 100% in CO.) I am interested in cash back and multipliers days.

Sorry, I have not updated the inventory recently. Overall the paytables
have been decimated. There's nothing good at nickles or quarters. Last
I checked there was some playable $1 VP at Ameristar. We usually only
go on weekends and the limits on table games have been increased with
the new law. Between that and the terrible pay tables on VP (and, we
assume, slots) there's nothing either my wife or I are willing to play.
Even before the changes we didn't play $1 VP for six hours a day so I
can't speak to what comps that would get you. We usually play at Isle
or Ameristar and do get discounted mid-week hotel rooms and 241 buffet
coupons.

Don't trust the VP inventory for either Ameristar or Isle. The pay
tables have changed every time I've been there, for the worse. I'd been
several months since I've been up. The last trip was on a Saturday
night, and despite the bad pay tables most machines were occupied and I
was unable to get a careful look at most machines.

I do get a monthly letter from Ameristar and they often have random
multipliers. You swipe your players card at a kiosk and it tells you
the multiplier you get that day.

Again thank you very much. This stop will be the first day of a week fly
fishing trip. We will drive up to WY to fish the Grey Reef section of the
North Platte river just outside of Casper.

Just got October flyer for Fortune Valley. They will be doing 4X points (1% cashback) on Thurs. in Oct. The VPFree2 inventory seems to be accurate, and they do have $1 NSUD. It's also walking distance from the Century. So worth considering if Thurs. works for you.
