Misscraps, I was invited by a (then) friend to an NCL Alaska cruise and vowed that it was actually two cruises - my first and my last. Food was awful, no lectures, a constant barrage of attempts to sell you things - all the issues you had. I chose not to gamble so didn’t even benefit to the degree you did and my companion, who did, wasn’t offered anything I knew about.
