Tried to register my 3 numbers this morning. I did not get the verifying
e-mail they said I would receive from them within a few minutes after I clicked
the submit button. It is 4 hours later now, and still no mail. Went back to the
site and clicked on verification of a number, and everything just sat still.
It takes a lot of patience I guess.

Karyn and I will be visiting our favorite home away from home two weeks from now. We were last there in November. I checked the VP Database for the FPDW machines. As far as I can tell, they are still there. Are there any new surprises awaiting us there?
Our house is now on the market. We'll be doing one more house hunting session in the Summerlin area. Does anyone know if desert landscaping is an option in Summerlin?

Only good ... they're still there, now with speed control and ticket
out payment (cool to see former hand-pays just rack up in cash
credits). Some complaints about blurry screens, but I thought they
were fine.

I remember some of the blurry screens and sticky screens from November. I was hoping they'd fix those problems.

According to ABC News the registration is occuring at over 100
persons per SECOND.
It occurs to me that it would be less unwieldy to simply accumulate a
database of people who WANT to be called by telemarketers, and
restrict calls to those people only.
I certainly hope that at a minimum, in the future, when a
telemarketer tries to call me or anyone else on the do not call list,
his or her phone explodes, the telemarketer is rendered sterile, and
the telemarketer's boss dies facedown in his ashtray. (and don't tell
me that the technology for this doesn't exist; the CIA has had it for
decades.)

Les,
I was there Memorial Day weekend and the FPDW were still there.
They actually changed the monitors with brand new ones while I was
playing, so the blurry displays are now gone.

There are some interesting folks that work there. I do not know how
someone can deal with so many negative conversations in a day w/out
climbing a clock tower w/ ski mask and a sniper rifle.

They could try sending a virus to everyone on the list. I just got one. It

jack of diamonds. I had to stop and stare at that for awhile.
I also watch on three to a royal draws at how many lines end up with four
to a royal (perhaps to torture myself, don't know why else?) On two of
these draws, I ended up with four to a royal on four lines. I just thought
these results were somewhat out of the ordinary (rare in other words). On
triple plays at Boulder Station earlier this year, I had a one card draw
turn up the exact same card on all three lines twice within five minutes of
each other.
It makes me wonder about there being a bug in the programming. In my
experience, it does seem to create higher volatility. My royals on
multiplays seem normal up to this point.

You are suffering from selective memory. I have played my share of multi-line games and have had some great sessions and some crummy ones.
In the true nature of randomness you will come across some mighty strange runs in your career. I have played a lot of video poker and have come across some bizarre runs and some strange draws.
It comes down to this . If you are playing in a major casino (i.e. not some little bar) in the state of Nevada the odds of coming across a crooked machine are about the same as winning Megabucks.

Play these multi-hand games long enough, and you're sure to see some
