N-Play or Single line?

I'm trying to decide what would be better..
I have a play with the following details:
2% cashback
.35% comps
$20k coin-in per month (2 sessions of $10k each) must be given
9/6 JoB (all variations)

Would I be better to go with 5c 10-play or 50c 1-play?
In my thinking, the only difference would be the swings, right?
With 5c/10-play my swings would be like +/- $200
With 50c/1-play my swings would be like +/- $2000
40k hands per session vs. 4k hands per session...

All other things equal, as you note, the expected swings of 10-play would be nominal compared to single line at the same total wager. Aside from that, the options are EV equivalent.

The key issue is that generally, I find I'm only able to score about 70%-80% of the wagers in any given length of time on 10-play vs single line. Thus, you're looking at a longer session to achieve the same coin-in. Not too stiff a price to pay for the stronger bankroll security.

FWIW, if it's an option, you will likely find 10c/10-play 9/6 JoB well within your 50c/1-play bankroll risk tolerance (up to the equivalent coin-in), and thus might be another attractive option. Just be aware that the ability to push up your total session coin-in does introduce a new bankroll risk.

I thought about 10c/10-play...however, I think 4000 hands in a day is a very do-able thing and it will give me plenty of time actually ON that machine (rather than having idle time spent WANTING to gamble more)

With 50c/1-play my swings would be like +/- $2000 This isn't right. For Ten Play for the same total bet, you need about 0.18 times the bankroll you need for single line. So if your estimate for Ten Play is correct, the swings for 50c single play would be about $1,100, not $2,000 I'm pretty sure that Video Poker for Winners is the only software that gives you bankroll calculations for Triple Play, Five Play, Ten Play, and Spin Poker. Okay, Bob. Now you just gave me some incentive to buy VPW. I personally like the ten play. It's just a lot more fun, even though you don't get out as much wager per hour.

I hear you about 10-play. I recently savored an extended session of $.25 10-play airport deuces (pNSUD, if you will) that refired my relish of the game.

The bankroll analysis feature of VPW is exceptional, but there are many other reasons you'll enjoy the software ... so run; don't walk; to the videopokerforwinners.com website.

If you happen to have a secret santa looking for a shopping list, I'd be inclined to include Wolf Video Poker as well.

Features are largely analogous to VPW (I'd rate VPW in game display as well as some display of analysis). However, Wolf stands out in a couple of unique respects.

One of is analysis of "tweaked" strategy. Another is in being a more "nimble" software that I find makes it more attractive for "Q&D" analysis. Plus, if you're interested in Monte Carlo simulation (you know ... firing it up and letting it run in "autoplay"), Wolf can be quite a bit more speedy and has a "background run" option.
