I just re-started playing at Rampart in January, having gotten completely sick of the Suncoast. I've been playing exclusively .50 NSUD nearly every day, but not a whole lot each day -- maybe $2K or $3K each day. (I've put on about 35,000 points this year so far.)
I just received my April mailer, which was for 3 $25 cashback coupons and 1 $30 freeplay.
Since I am relatively (re-"new") there, I'm unfamiliar with their system. I see in the database that the Rampart gives .6% "discretionary" comps. From my play the last three months, I figured that meant I had about $700 coming, so I checked with a host (Andrew Bloch) to see if this were true. I also wanted to know if/how I could get to a higher level of monthly coupons.
On the last question, he told me that I was already at the highest level for coupons. Was he telling me the truth?
Discretionary comps -- when I mentioned the .6% on "the internet," he asked me where I heard that. I just said it was a "video poker interest group." He denied that there was any such policy. He also denied that I had anything like a "comp bank," but did say if we wanted to eat at their cafe or buffet, it would be no problem, and if wanted to eat at their high-end restaurant (Carmel), he could do $100 for the two of us "once or twice a month." (My partner John plays about a third what I do.)
I asked the host what I could expect if hypothetically I played twice what I do now, since I'm already at the top mailer. I thought his answer rather vague: mentioning VIP parties and the like.
I'm sure there are folks on this list who play more than $50K/month at the Rampart, and am wondering what you folks can get. Maybe it depends what you play?

I believe the $100 cashback per month is the highest level. As far
as other comps, I only play there twice a week, so I am not at your
level, but my host said buffet or cafe "whenever I wanted". I have
read about VIP parties, trips, etc in the Rampart newspaper. Plus
there is that Summerlin Room which I assume one has to be member to
eat or drink there.

the cannery has a high flyer mailer...you need 75k points over the past
3 months...would assume the rampart has something similar...

(would be great if that could be added to the cannery page)...

Maybe it used to be, but no longer is that the case.

I don't know where it tops out, but can say at least $200 for the
month is possible.
