A few months ago, I made a post about 8-5 BP progressive 3-play that included all of my strike numbers for the totals of the three royals. A highly competent and conscientious VP player friend went through the list for me to verify my work and found two errors. For the benefit of the two or three of you that copied and are using that sheet, I am posting these two corrections:
WRONG # 1--JK,QK>9JK,9QK w A ST PEN.$6,860.00
The correct amount should be $5,145.00. I know exactly how I did this, as the 6,860 figure is the exact strike number if I am playing single line $'s. I did not divide by three and then multiply by 4, but just inserted the dollar figure in error. I know I can do this with formulas in Excel, and I am trying to use it more often, but it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Besides, I write these formulas so infrequently, I forget structure, syntax, etc., that by the time I look it up, I just revert to my old methods.
WRONG # 2-- TQ>234, 235, 245...................$4,395.00
The correct amount should be $3,660.00, same as the 3 STFL I 0 HI, 8 HI.I have absolutely no clue how I did this one. I do sometimes work on the same hand in two or three different games at the same time, having three different analysis programs running at once, and just alt tab to switch games, instead of having to constantly change games in one program. Whatever it may have been looks like it has to do with the 3 STFL DI, because of exposure to the venom of the Ace, but I can't remember. My wife has always claimed that men can't multitask, and I may soon become a believer, but not quite yet. Thanks to RT for proofing for me, you know who you are. Nudge
