Guys, (do any women post here?)
I hit Motor City at 9:15. Lost a hundred playing 9/6 JB Spin Poker.
Spin Poker multi-line (45 quarters per play) is a tough game to beat
because more than half of the hands you get will be losers. What
you're hoping to get, is dealt a made hand. Played Pick-A-Pair and
got the hundred back when I hit a quad.
Got to MGM at 11:30. They had a promo where you swipe your card in a
kiosk and win at least $10 in free play or higher. Watched as about
30 people swiped, all won $10 free play. I tried, but my card
wouldn't read. Said the hell with it and left to play quarter Double
Bonus Poker. The prog was only at $1300, but I played anyway and
dropped a hundred. At 99.1%, it's not one of my favorite games.
MGM now has a free drawing going on all the time, right at your
machine while you play. The little screen where you punch in, has a
built-in slot machine that turns on every 15 minutes or so and
everyone in the place who's on a machine with a screen, has a chance
to win a prize if you line up the three symbols. No one at our bank
won anything while I was there.
As I was leaving, I put a twenty in a dollar "Wheel of Fortune"
machine, got a free spin, won $50 and cashed out $60 ahead.
It was about 1:30 when I got to GT. Lost a hundred playing Pick'Em.
Got it back playing 9/6 JB. Stayed even for an hour playing DW, Then
lost a hundred on dollar Pick'Em and another hundred playing Bonus
Poker at the Bar.
Got a beer, walked around and played some 2-coin quarter slots
("CHICAGO") just to rest my eyes (I usually play da slots with my
eyes closed to rest them before the long ride home)for a while.
Stayed even and left at about 4:30. Finished the day down $250. Rats!
I hate when that happens. Caught a movie in Rochester, had a good
meal at "Crust" and had a beer at my Elk's lodge. Got home at 9:00.
Terry
PS: Dolores and I will be there for the next meeting.
