The riverwalk is just too cool, it seems amazing to me that nobody ever
seems to want to walk it in the evening/night, it's lovely then. I get
a little disgusted with Harrahs, here they are the largest outfit in
Laughlin, it would be the easiest thing in the world for them to extend
a nice sidewalk down to the riverwalk and connect to it. If they
wanted to be civic minded they could actually make their part look cool
then they would be contributing to Laughlins best attraction instead of
just sponging off of it, getting the benefit but contributing nothing.
I think it's shame that you can't do it all the way from the edgewater
to Harrahs, that would be really cool. You have to give the Pioneer
credit, they are one of the smaller outfits on the riverwalk but their
portion of it is definately the coolest. I wish the River Palms would
fix some of those monkey things on its part of the river walk, they
either don't have the lights or the light covers, pity because they are
so cool looking especially at night.

The Riverwalk adds to the experience. The Pioneer's seasonal lights are a
nice addition. Do they have Frosty the Snowman standing in the petunias this
year?
River Palms does not have control of that beach area. Columbia-Sussex did
not want to renew the agreement when they bought the RP property. That parking
lot belongs to a third party.
There is a plan to extend the riverwalk from the Davis dam all the way down
to that state park south of Harrahs. A pedestrian bridge is planned to cross
HWY 163, down there by Don's statue.
Not sure about the status of the project.
