MultiStrike Problems

I can guess that on a dial-up connection it'll take a
little while for the on-line MS Poker game to open.
It's a rather large file to download and run, over
2MB, I think.

The problem I've had with it lately is that it's very
slow after the download. When I first started playing
it, it was very fast. Now it's very slow - at least
the last time I played it sometime last week.

I installed the latest version of Shockwave on this
computer last week as well (not only for MS Poker, but
my youngest needs it to play games on
Cartoonnetwork.com), but it was still slow.

Anyone see similar issues, or should I look further
inside my system?

One explanation for this may be that you're running low on memory.
However, you don't indicate that you're suffering similar problems
otherwise so this may well not be the case.

I've noted in a separate post a means by which you can run the MSP
application off-line. That might improve things for you.

If anyone has difficulty with the general steps I've outlined you're
welcome to email me separately with details of the operating system on
the computer and the browser type (IE,NS,etc.) and I'd be pleased to
help you. (Well actually, MS Internet Explorer and Netscape are
likely to be the only ones for which I might provide guidance, and
there are no promises at that
