MultiStrike NSUD

Does anyone know of a published strategy chart for NSUD MultiStrike?
We noticed this game on a few machines the last time we were in
Blackhawk, CO. Thanks.

I don't believe so.

Michael Shackleford published a strategy for full pay deuces,
developed using Frugal Video Poker, on his Wizard of Odds website:
http://wizardofodds.com/multistrike/appendix1.html

I'm surprised he didn't choose to run a strategy for NSUD instead
since there's been no report of any casino installing MS with a
paytable as strong as FPDW.

A strategy for NSUD can be developed with a standard strategy
generator such as vp Strategy Master or Frugal VP, using the "6/4/2"
paytable addition discussed in the Shackleford article or in Bob
Dancer's article on the game.

Beware of simply trying to wing play strategy. In the case of FPDW,
Shackleford notes that playing the MS version using standard play
strategy will impair your expected return by almost a full 1%.

I'll be teaching this game at Silverton, where the classes are scheduled
to begin (probably) August 15. If the schedule holds, NSU DW Multi
Strike will be the second class on October 3. Within a day or two the
entire class schedule will be firm enough to publish.

Hey Skip

Just wondering about a vpfree discount or trial offer. Thought I read
a post about something on that order. Clicked on link below and
couldn't figure anything out. Maybe I got it wrong? Let me know.

Wouldn't the Jacks, or even DBDW, be easier? While the MS NSUD
strategy is straightforward, it is by no means a walk in the park,
particularly for amateur-level players. BTW, think you can talk your
friends over at Fiesta to put NSUD on the 5-play MS?

DBDW is really basic, it's mostly either pay hand, draw, deuce,
redraw. The non-MS strategy is a little work, but not knowing the
penalty cards with the RF3 with an A hands probably costs .03 at most.
On a multiline, you must get dealt quints, preferably the Aces, or
you're going to get creamed.

If you want challenging, have them put the JW2 game on the program.
There are tons of insane and exotic holds on that game. It's 100%, but
I promise them they'll hold better than NSUD.

Good luck with the classes.

I will be teaching JoB Multi Strike the same day as NSU Multi Strike.

My "friends" at Fiesta have removed the games I play ($2 Five Play SDB),
so there is no reason I go in there anymore except to pick up my free
play as long as that lasts. If I had any influence, I'd get them to put
that game back. The Fiesta seems to be going through a process of
tightening games right now.
