Multiple downtown (and Sam's Town) questions. Please HELP!

The Binion's swipe promo has been going on for several months, so maybe it will continue at least through February.

The Golden Gate bartop machines have a progressive only on the royal.

At the Cal both the 25c 10/7 DB near the Main St. Bar and the heart royal bonus machines are $3 per point. --- In vpFREE@yahoogroups.com, "patlives" <patlives@...> wrote:

VPfree2 says that Golden Gate has 9/6 DDB progressives at the Bar, are those RF only or 6 way including quads? Does GG have any promos going?

At the Cal, are the 10/7 DB machines with the 1,000 coin Heart RF bonus $3 per point? How about the quarter machines near the Main Street Bar?

Thank you for the info!! I need to find a way to rack up points on a positive vp game. Looks like NSUD is the closest I'm going to get at MSS or Cal. Unless someone has a different idea.

Well, if you can stomach TDW, I remember there being 2 or 3 machines against the wall toward the south end at MSS that had TDW on them, for quarters. Full points, but a brutal game.

Also, if I remember correctly, the NSU at MSS, at least in one area anyway, was also requiring $3 for a point.

If you have to play downtown, perhaps go over to Fremont and play Pick'em? But if you want points on the B-Connected system, I'd find a healthy progressive at either Sam's, Orleans, or maybe even Sun Coast.

Under Boyd's old system, every time you played, it triggered a 3-day "trip." If you only played one day, you had "0" days for the next two.

Now that they have switched over to B-Connected, is is still the same? I am going in a few weeks, staying on the strip to burn off the last of my HET comps, but wanted to visit downtown for some bartop 9/6 JOB, freeplay, and microbrews at MSS. I don't want to get burned if I only put in one day of play instead of my usual 3.

Does anyone know if just one day of play will adversely affect my rating with B-Connected? Thx.

Thanks for the suggestions Bob! We are going to take at least one day out at sam's.
