I was wondering if anyone knew of any articles or strategy charts that
addressed the deuces wild version of MultiStrike poker. I've read Bob
Dancer's article regarding the Jacks-or-better version of the game and
the variances in strategy required when playing MiltiStrike, but I
haven't seen one yet for the many variances of deuces wild. For
example:
1. Does it become more advantageous at a certain level (i.e. Level 3)
to hold four-to-a-flush or four-to-a-straight, rather than a low pair?
2. At what point does the potential pay-off of a higher-paying hand
(i.e. three-to-a-royal) outweigh the primary goal to simply get to the
next level? Is it only at the top level, or should you start favoring
the higher pays at lower levels?
3. Is it generally more advantageous to hold a single deuce along with
a partial unsuited straight (as an example) in order to get to the next
level, or should the deuce be held by itself, in order to maximize the
possible hands that can advance you?:
Anyway, I'm curious if there is a resource anyone could point me to that
would discuss the various issues surrounding the deuces-wild version of
the Multistrike game.
And finally, I noticed that the LES site for the practice Web version of
the game has full-pay deuces. Does anyone know of the existence of a
FPD version of Multistrike anywhere on the planet?
Thanks in advance for your input!
