I've written in the past the Bev and I have played MS "short level".

Are not there Multi-Strikes out on casino floors that short the royal (2500)
unless playing all four lines at max coin?

Good catch. Although I haven't encountered them, I understand that
some of the machines are configured to short the royal when only 1 or
2 lines are played. However, I believe all machines have a full
payout for 3 lines at max coin.

I believe that progressives will only be paid if all 4 lines are
played, also.

There are MS progressives? First I've heard of one ... do they run a
separate meter on the royal for each Level? Or is there just one
meter that's paid and reset for whatever Level on which you hit a royal?

(Or are you talking about some other progressive game with "4 lines",
Tom?)

Yes. I believe it was discussed here when the Red Rock had an
especially high meter on the second line from the bottom a few years
ago. In spite of being told that several casino employees had said
that the progressive would be paid if the player only played 2 lines,
I read the instructions that I thought contradicted that, so I quit
playing it.

The resets are, naturally, $1000 for the bottom line, $2000 for the
next highest line, $4000 for the next, and $8000 for the top line.

Thanks for the follow up reply, Tom.
