Multi-Strike heartache

How to learn the hardway- searched my local casino for best paytable
for 1.00 JOB, found it on a multi strike machine. I only played one
line for best single line pay-table, BIG mistake hit Royal and it only
paid 1250.00, impossible, no it is short pay if you only play one
line, play 2 lines you get correct pay 4000.00 on both lines. Is this
casino shorting one line players or is this how multi strike pays one
line players?

Must not be understanding what you are saying. Using VPW we played one line by using the select hands button and then we bet 5 credits at $1. We then selected specific cards to be played under the analyze option and selected a non-sequential RF. It paid 4000 credits or $4k. The way you described yours it should have paid you $4000 if you were betting 5 credits. ??

Ok...Kathy found the probable answer. You must have been playing 5 play ( 5 hands per line ) since you played only one line, you bet 5 credits. This means that each hand on the one line was bet with only 1 credit ( one credit per hand). Since the royal was apparently dealt to you and was on each hand, you were paid $250 per hand. 5 times 1 credit royals equal $1,250.

Does this solve the mystery?

No, the OP likely related the situation correctly. They were playing
a standard (1-play) game.

Some casinos, but not all, set the paytable to short-pay the royal
when only the first level is played. I believe it's been reported
that some short a 2 level game as well. Always review paytables
closely. That's a trickier prospect with a multi-paytable game such
as MS.

the least. I hit royal before on multi but I played 3 lines 5 per line, and was paid correctly.
