Everything that I've been told, and have read, by the most
knowledgeable players, is that the strategy is identical, no matter
how many lines you are playing. In fact, because the error is
compounded by the number of hands to which you are drawing, it is even
more critical in multi-play to stick to the proper strategy.
~Babe~P.S. I LOVE 50 and 100 play and play them often. I never stray from
the proper strategy in order to "try for a royal".

But the number of hands played can matter on these 50/100 multi-plays if
considering what will generate a W2-G. Playing nickels at 5 per line a 250 coin
dealt payoff (like a SF or enhanced quads), 95 lines will give you a $1187.50
pay-off, which is better for most of us than a 100 line $1250.00 hit.
There are other inflection points to consider based on denomination and the
paytable.
Some in-house promotions only count on the bottom line on mult-games. Others
only one promo ticket is issued per hand. Also there could be a minimum
demonination needed to earn a drawing entry. These are just some other factors to
consider when playing mult-line games.
