Multi-Line Pick'em

The current Strictly Slots talks about "Pick a Pair" which is the IGT
version of Pick Em. Same exact game. It will be available as a multi-play
game and a single line.

A few months ago there were several posts about the development of

multi-line Pick'em.

Has anyone heard anything further?

I saw that game at Sunset Station on 12/19/04. They had three
machines; nickel/dime/quarter, with a choice of three VP games. I
didn't write down the paytables.

According to Casino Enterprise Management magazine "multi-hand
pick'em" will be one of the new games on Bally's new "Alpha Video
Platform". Still several months away from casinos.

Haven't seen "Pick a Pair" yet

So is 3-line Pick 'em three times as boring, or only one third?

Just kidding.

Guess what! Some of the most "boring" games in the casino have low
house edges:
Baccarat, Normal BJ, Jacks or Better VP, Pick'em VP
Some of the most "exciting" games in the casino have high house edges:
Slots, Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Double Double Bonus VP

For a house edge of only 0.05% (less with cashback), I would take a
boring game over "excitement" anyday!

Um, I think I knew all that, DJ.

Guess what! For an even lower house "edge" of -0.72% (note the
negative sign) I'll take an interesting game (AA) that pays
positively even before the cashback and freebies are factored in.

PS And since you mentioned DDB: The 10/6 payscale is also an
exciting game with a positive payout. Love that variance!

Good luck finding one with the 99.95 paytable on them.

I was speaking in general terms. From what I know, players don't like
All-American, even with the positive expectation. I suppose the game
seems "weird" to them.
