Multi-line Hands Per Hour?

Wouldn't you just multiply it by 5?

I've only played single line machines, and I think I can play about
600-700 hands per hour, and I'm wondering how many hands per hour
I'll play on a 5 play.

Actually not, carbfree. That would assume that the machine deal/draw
cycle is at the same speed on single line vs. multiline machines.
However, the draw and tallying of credits on a multiline takes
significantly longer.

There are several factors involved in estimating related play speeds
(for example, a slower machine is going to reduce hands played no
matter whether single or multi line).

However, a rule of thumb that would jive with my experience is a ratio
of 80% for 3-play, 70% for 5-play, and 60% for 10-play. For Jeff I'd
suggest that an estimate of 400-500 hands per hour would be in the
ballpark.
