Multi-Line All-Hands On-The-Deal Progressive VP Question

Correct. In general, to determine how much a winning hand/event
contributes to game return, divide the added payout by the total
wagers over 1 cycle. You've got it here.

The assumption is you only get the dealt royal meter, so you do have to back
out the standard payoff (or metered one).

I used to goof it up figuring out sequential Royals or Bonus ACE$.

Current example:

Golden Nugget Laughlin's Royalmania- which is a metered sequential royal that
resets at $10k on normal Bonus 8/5 in quarters. You back out the $1k.

But there are games that cough-up that special bonus and then still lets you
play out the hand and double dip.

I can think of Pay the Aces-No Faces and Barbaric Deuces. CDS used to have
Looney Twos (?) and others that would spit a few quarters before the draw when
dealt cards in the proper card.
