I try to do as much 'scouting' as possible, in fact recently at a
casino that I had pretty much written off for 'no playable games' I
found a pretty good paytable just by scouting games I thought I had
checked many times and sometimes adjacent games in the same bank will
have different paytables for the same games. Needless to say this can
be time consuming, so with all the MD/MG games out there I usually
check only the highest denomination and if I find anything interesting
then I check the lower denoms, sometimes you find better games at
higher denoms and sometimes it is the lower denoms. mostly I check
the level I like to play since that is most meaningfull to me. I was
just in tunica and found a single machine out of 24 that had 9/5 JOB
at the .25 level when every other game had 9/6... I guess it was just
a mistake, and in this case it was a bad one, but sometimes the
mistake is a good one. Thats why we all need to keep each other updated.

Has anyone ever seen a multi-denomination machine that will give you
better odds if you wager more? I've seen machines where you get more
of a choice of games if you wager more, but I'm curious if the
paytables are better when betting $1 or $5 as opposed to $.25?
