$1 or $2? Comon folk, valet is worth more than a tip given for a drink. I tip at least $3 all the way up to $20 depending on location, speed of service and how far the valet has to run to get to the car.

The min I'd give is 4.00. I don't think 2 is enough for Vegas.

I generally do $5 but it does depend. I use to only tip when I picked up. But then learned that you should tip dropping off and pick up, so the poor guy that is parking your car gets something. However, If you google tipping in las vegas the usually do say $1 or $2 for drop off and pick up.

Huh, I would have thought they rotate between doing pickups and dropoffs,
if not over the course of a single shift, then at least from week to week.
I would also have guessed they pool tips. But I would also suppose this
could vary from casino to casino based on policy/layout/etc.

I do not know about other casinos but while I was waiting for my car at The Orleans I was talking to the valet at the desk and said that the shift pools their tips... That would be OK if they all start at the same time ... Richard from Ca.
