Mugged

<<Consider CCW>>?

Yes, I think I will be using valet more. What does everyone tip for that
service - $1? $2?

I'm very glad it didn't turn into a tussle, though I have learned some
defensive moves, he had about 50 years on me and that's a lot!!

Everyone, get trained on handguns! Lots of great courses out there. Then qualify for CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon}. Permit good for Five years.

If more folks have CCW, these thugs will think twice. I never leave home without it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More SECURITY needed in Parking garages!

Karen this sucks but you handled it well. As a doctor, I can assure you (moves or not) you would have been severely injured at age 70 vs. a young male. As to the gun guy, what good is a gun if they approach from behind and remove jewelry and run off. Would you shoot at them after the fact?

I would shoot, aim for the legs, hard to run with holes in your legs.

Wouldn't that make you guilty of assault with a deadly weapon, since
it wouldn't be in self-defense?

We usually give $3 when getting the car back

In the Taj Mahal case, it was a carjacking, and a response, especially firing a weapon, might have avoided the female companion's being seriously wounded.
If the Taj, which has had more than enough similar serious problems in the past, is unable to secure its facilities it does not merit anyone's patronage. Neither does all of Atlantic City, which the governor promised a year ago to have patrolled by major contingents of state troopers because the Atlantic City Police Department was so clearly unable to deal with the major crime rate.

I have zero problems with killing muggers BUT it sure seems a couple of dollar tip is a whole lot better choice than playing Gunfight At The OK Corral. Plus even if you "win" the shootout the legal bull**** that follows.
All to save a $2 tip? I've mostly self-parked in the past and will continue to do so at surface lots and places that are pretty safe and suburban like Connecticut but AC? No f****** way.

I don't know what I would be charged with in Vegas. Hell, you can be a guy CCW shopping at Costco and get gunned down. Oh, yeah Police did that one.
