Mt. Pleasant

Deb and I are good friends with another couple who have been bugging us
to go with them for a weekend at Soaring Eagle. I've been avoiding it
due to crappy VP there, but now I see in the database that they have
NSUD and full pay PickEm in quarters. Has anyone been there recently
and can confirm? The last entry for PickEm was 5 months ago, for NSUD
it's been 2 years. Also, while a rather nifty 1.2% comp rate is noted,
there's a comment that comps are accumulating slower than before.

Hi, been to Mt. Pleasant many times, actually the VP is not so

bad. They have many full pay pickem machines scattered around the
casino. They also have a bank of $1 pickems. The NSUD are not in
the main casino, they are in the older small casino across the
street. The shuttle runs back and forth between the two. There is
also some $1 bartops that are have some decent games, I believe they
are listed in the database. Hope this helps, Scott.

The 1.2 percent was for comp but not cash back. It appears to be
about one half of that now, but not sure as the display no longer
counts down. Cashback used to be about .16 percent but appears to
be about one tenth of that now, see above.

NSUD are available in the old building but you will have a hard time
getting on them as they also have lots of one nickel keno players
using them 24 hours a day or one nickel per hand vp players. It
usually is not worth the hassle to try to play them during
reasonable hours of the day.

Not sure about pick-em but in main building the best available for
quarters are in the 99 plus minus 1/2 percent range. Again if you
can get the one quarter keno players off of them. Like a previous
poster said up at the bar are some 99 plus games if you play the
dollar credits. If you look you will see that it is not bad to play
just one credit for a dollar. Becareful, not all bars are the same.
