Well, all those VP players that love the easy comps at MSS can kiss that
goodbye.
They just converted to a theo system this week. We spoke to a couple of
hosts who explained just how confusing their formula is.
It takes into account the usual things like time, denomination, type of
machine and coin in.
Unfortunately we were told that VP is killing our theo. Based on the games
we play, which are in 3 locations,
bartop, FPDW and slant-tops near valet, we need to get OVER 8K coin in to
get a high enough theo for silver level and that's STRETCHING IT. That's
only by dividing by 2 (days) rather than 3 (what the computer shows). That's
a $3,000 coin in difference for us. HOLY SH*T.
Basically slots/reels create the best theo. So, if you play slots then you
should be ok but if you goto MSS and bang on the FPDW, FORGET ABOUT IT.
In fact, one of our buddies you put over 5K per day on a recent visit is
only at CASINO RATE because he played FPDW exclusively. That's how bad the
type of machine kills your theo.
Most of the hosts and other staff think this is going to hurt business, so
we'll see.

PS: We were also told that they plan to merge Coast with them too.
