I've been getting offers from MSS every month for about 2 years,
since I first played there. Typical offer is for 3 nights Sun.
Thurs., $30 food vouchers and double points. I guess that puts me on
the "B" list.
Just got July's offer, for 3 specific weekend nights: July 21-23, an
entry into a slot tournament and $40 in food vouchers. For the first
time I can remember, there's no mention of double or triple points.
We are going to MSS in May for 4 weekday nights, with $30 in food
vouchers and double points. Because of our travel plans, we won't be
arriving until very late the first night (possibly even past
midnight, taking us into the second day).
My plan now is to play heavily at MSS our first full day there,
putting in as much action as possible at the $0.25 JOB machines. 8
hours at 500 hands an hour will get me $5,000 coin-in.
We plan to spend the second full day touring around town and enjoying
some of the many things Las Vegas has to offer. I do not plan to play
at MSS on our second full day there.
Our third full day will actually be our last because we have a
10:30pm flight out that night. So, even though we won't be sleeping
at MSS on the fourth night, we plan to keep the room until about 6 or
7pm in case we need a nap or want to freshen up. Again, I don't plan
to put any play on my MSS card that day.
So, basically, the plan right now is to take up the offer for 4
nights, get in very late the first night and check-out without
sleeping in the room the 4th night. Playing will be limited to about
$5K on the first full day.
What, if anything, would this do to our rating at MSS? Will I be
looked at as a parasite for coming in for 4 nights and only playing 1
day? These plans are somewhat flexible if it looks like MSS might cut
us off after this. Any suggestions for maximizing future offers from
MSS?
