I've stayed, played, and eaten at both. The rooms at MSS are
deplorable. The last 2 times I stayed at MSS, I stayed in a suite.
This is the only suite I have stayed in anywhere that was
disappointing. I will not stay there again. The regular rooms at the
Cal are average, but very comfortable. The suites at the Cal are
very nice. Unlike most vp'ers, I prefer play at the Cal. The food at
both casinos is very good. Service can be spotty at both places. Of
course, these are all my own opinions.
