Indeed the scratcher service has suffered a bit at the MSS, however I
find it to be just a very minor annoyance. In fact, during the days
and evenings you can usually recieve it in 3 or less minutes. The
drink and handpay service is usually prompt and effecient. The reason
I find this place getting worse is the fact that its getting more
difficult to get a machine, particularly the deuces! The increased
volume was inevitable but now its virtually impossible to walk in on a
weekend at 9am and get a machine. Perhaps its easier on the weekdays.
My wife and I even tried a early 5am start two Saturdays ago and 4 of
the 5 deuces machines were taken! Three guys, playing fast as
lighting, looked like they'd been there all night were still there
when we checked back at 10am. Several friends say they have no trouble
getting machines, esp. on the weekends. I guess we're just getting
unlucky but it sure seems busy all the time. Even though room and meal
comps are relativly easy, We much perfer the LVH!
