Now that the 3 quarter based DW have been downgraded, does anyone know the
adverse effects of playing the nickel based ones? I realize that CB will be
cut in half (since point earned will be cut in half) but that is not much
of a factor since regular CB is only .1%. How about comps and marketing
offers? Are they based on points or coin in?
I have heard in the past that mailings, comps and silver and
gold status are based on coin-in, and that cashback is the
only thing that is based on points.
Unless the other FPDW are also downgraded, I suspect that
MSS just decided to make their FPDW a little less attractive
by reducing the cashback for all FPDW.
