The place has become quite popular, but we think for that much play it
is overvaluing itself. If memory is correct, it was easier comps were
one thing that got the place attention. It is a pretty casino.

You have to consider this new Theo deal that Boyd is using now. Playing $1
10/7 DB might only take 5-6 hours for $18k, half time for two players. A Gold
Card means food and beverage at three different casinos right?

Is there a top end on Gold Cards $$...two people...wine list max?

Any slot and table game players make Gold at MSS?

I just got another postcard for MSS for November...two nights, 2x points and
$20 food for Sun-Thurs...standard offer. Half my play is on FPDW the other at
the bartops/Treasure Chests. My play was about $2k/day in 2004 over 7 total
nights (three visits). Jan/2005 $3100 action, for three nights for a VP
tourney. April $1,100 coin-in for two nights. Cal got about the same play (no
mail) too. Yet my mail has not fallen off at this low roller level...to my
surprise.

YMMV

I recently found out that for locals you can only get mailings from
your "home casino". I initially picked up my Player's Gold card at The
Cal so they designated this my home casino. A change in home casino
requires a request to direct marketing who forward your request to the
VP of something or other who will consider your request and is the only
person authorized to make the change. I am currently going through
this process to get MSS switched to my home casino as they appear to
offer stronger local's mailers. I don't know if this applies to you
visitors too.
