MSS B-Connected questions

I have not been to Las Vegas yet this year, but will be going out next month. I will be staying at Main St Station. Since my last visit, they implemented "B-Connected".

Do hosts still issue Gold or Silver Cards? Or is this system gone?

Do some VP machines accrue points at $1-coin-in per point (I have read here in another thread that machines with any full-pay game require $3 per point)?

I wonder if my points that were on my Players Gold card are still there?

Thanks for any info,
Jandor

Yes, Gold and Silver cards still exist.

The machines with 10/7 DB have the $3/point label. I think only these are affected. I know that 8/5 BP Spin Poker is still $1/pt.

My points (both from Sam's Town and MSS) were correctly combined and brought over to my B-Connected card. As most of my play was at Main Street, the new card kept my old MSS Player's Gold card number. I've since used the new card both at Sam's and MSS with no problems.

And the 4 of a kind scratch cards continue, but also continue to decline in value. Last weekend I received 202 scratch cards (including quite a few dealt 4oak on Spin Poker). 2 were for $5, 7 were for $3, and all the rest were $2. Avg value $2.06. I asked about $5000 cards. None has been received since the one Pete (of this list) got back in May of last year.

Hi!
The wife and I were at MSS last weekend. The good news is that all of our points were transferred to our B-connected account. The bad news is the Pullman Grille has been closed indefinitely! We also could not find the trip ducks.
We did however have a very productive trip! I hit the quad ducks twice on the loose deuces and the $1199.00 treasure chest also!

P.S. Don't be afraid to ask for food comps as they seem very eager to please here!!!

Chris

To concur - Gold and Silver cards are still issued, and you can also redeem your points for food at the rate of 600 points for $1. Treasure Chest VP is also $3/point. I'm not sure if all of the games on the MG/MD machines that contain 10/7 DB accrue points at $3/point. FP games like 8/5 Bonus and 9/6 DDB on machines that don't contain 10/7 DB accrue points at $1/point for $.25 and up.

Also concur with the diminishing value of the scratchers. In a day and a half of play last weekend, I got approximately 80 cards, of which exactly one was for $3. All the rest were $2.

Hi,

I was at MSS in February and it's true most of the full pay machines require $3 per point. However, I did find a couple of .25c NSUD (99.73%) on the west wall near valet parking as well as .25c, .50c, $1 9/6 JoB at the Boar's Head Bar requiring $1 per point.

Hope this helps.

They didn't just downgrade the machines - they removed all three of them. I talked to a slot tech to see if they were just moved to some other spot on the floor and he said no, they were removed and wouldn't be back. This was on April 22. The same is true for the triple deuces. Sorry for the bad news. My brother is still crying about that. Bill

It's a single-line 8/5 Bonus-like game that pays a random amount for a 4 of a kind. Upon drawing a 4OAK, five treasure chests are displayed on the screen. The player chooses one of these chests, which then displays the payout. At the 25c level, the payouts range from 140, 180, 250, 500 or 4796 coins ($1199). At the $1 level, the payouts are the same except that the top prize is 5000 coins (dollars). As you might guess, the most frequently seen payout is 140 coins.
