There is one theory regarding excessive Mandalay Resort Group
offers. They want their money back after a big hit, like a $4K
royal.

Ms. Hamstockman hit a big payoff on a potshot last May at CB. They
have been getting Laughlin offers that far exceed the coin-in that
has been posted. I get my $7.77/night offers and their mailbox is
overflowing with various RF/multi-point/gift/event offers.

It is just a theory, maybe your $1 Luxor royal triggered something?

You could very well be right. It will be anybody's guess what will
show up in the mailbox now. Was there on the comped trip from CB,
but only gave them 1 evening of play. Gave EW an afternoon's worth.
Although they are both the "One Club" the offers are separate I am
told. Gave lotsa action to RP, but I don't expect to get free air
from them (from what I've read on this board).

As an added note: Originally, the Luxor only comped 1 of the 2
nights. About a month later, I received a check in the mail from
them for the 2nd night! I never asked for this and was totally
shocked by it. As I said, my play at the Luxor was minimal.

Here is my story on this. Last May, my wife hit the royal on the $1,
but our overall play was the same for this trip. We had been
receiving lots of offers for free rooms, and other small goodies. All
of a sudden, about 4 weeks after the royal, we received an offer for
free rooms, tickets to the boat races, transportation, and all meals
for the entire stay. I had never received a full RFB offer before,
and keep in mind that our overall play was about the same as in all
previous trips. My conclusion was that they knew we had won some
money, and wanted us to bring it back! Sorry, we did not bring it all
back. Since then, the offers have returned to what they were before
this bigger hit.

I guess if you are looking for some great offers, hit a big jackpot!?
