My Wife (formerly rated Sachem I might have metioned in the past) went
Tuesday with daughter for birthday celebration. Daughter lives in
Western Mass (beyond the Conn. River) and left Wednesday for home.
So, I went down Wednesday afternoon (from Boston did it in 100 minutes)
to pick wife up. Left early Thursday for Boston.
Saw Vicki Lawrence in Cabaret. That was fun. Played 90% $1 PE and 10%
9/5 Jack or Better Multistrike.
Results:
9 PE Quads and 1 SF up ~$2K on Wednesday night around 10:00. Sachem
wife goes to bed comforted that she has had a winning streak and
maintained her above $1500 theo for last 14 days gambling.
Got bankrolled by recently lucky Wife (thanks to Royal in Laughlin and
last 2 days winning at MS - maybe coming out of loooong Mohegan losing
streak). I stayed up and played Multistrike. The crack cocaine of VP.
Got lucky and did well. After 4 hours was ahead around $700. I didn't
want to go to bed but it was 2:00 and I looked around and there was
nobody except like a suit and couple floor people, looking at me from a
distant - just being enteratined while I played a 2% negative game.
So, I left and went to bed and actually felt O.K. next morning after 5
hours of sleep. I told my wife I had a good time and that the game was
really breakeven because I don't get flushes anyways so it doesn't
matter if they short the flushes.
