I've been to MS on a few occasions when a woman was playing two $5 pick-em
machines. I'd see all the suits standing around and watching her.
I've never said these machines should not be played. I play exclusively the
$1 9/6 JOB and Pick-em and occasionally the $5 machines.
My point is to avoid drawing additional attention to the machines.

Disagree that playing two machines will cause undue attention to any
particular game. It isn't hard to look around and find people
playing two (highly negative) slot machines at once. And Let It Ride
seems to be about as popular as Pick 'Em on those particular
Gamemakers. I play two machines at once because the deal speed is
set ridiculously slowly. While I play the $5 machines on occasion, I
don't have the bankroll to play it exclusively.I doubt full-pay Pick 'Em will be around much longer at MS,
regardless of how much play the machines get (especially the $10
machines -- as far as I know, MS is the only casino in the country to
offer full-pay PE at that denomination). Might as well play them
while they're there. Doesn't make much sense to NOT play them in the
hope that the casino might not notice them, thus keeping them longer.Truth is, if somebody walked up to me and said something like "excuse
me, I know this is silly, but I won a lot of money on this machine
the other day and really think that it is lucky for me -- if they're
all the same to you, would you mind letting me play this one?" I'd
give them the machine I was playing, even if the rest of the old
poker room was empty. Even though I'd know their reasons for wanting
the machine are silly, at least they would have been nice about it.
It was this gentleman's attitude (he was extremely rude) that caused
me to refuse on principle.
