My Sagamore wife is now Sachem. I know from previous posts that both
theo and actual loss come into play.
1)Think she has been awarded Sachem card because she lost about $5K
total over last three trips.
2)Her theo (barely) exceeds $1400/day for 16 days this year.
So, the Mohegan gambling slump provided a small dividend. Just have
to be careful that "Sachem" is kept in perspective. In the long run,
we are "lucky" to breakeven on the gambling part of this play.
Kind of follows the info from the below posting of 8/21 by
Turbotrader et al:
"I am sachem. You need to meet two of the following criteria. Theo
of 1400, 26 trips in a year and a certain loss for the year that I
am not sure of. The best way to get a higher theo is not to put
your
card in when playing a small amount. I play JOB and the theo loss
is
8% versus 5% for PE
Mel
The third requirement is a theo loss of $100K."

It seems that 250 +50 was the highest. My guess it was based on
theo
with 250+50 being the most unless someone got more. You need a
theo
···
of 1,400 for sachem
Sagamore is about 500-1400 with trips and acutal loss a factor. If
it it was based on theo, that would explain the variance for
sagamore
