My wife and I have played two or three days a month for the past
three months and each play around 500 to 1000 points daily. Our
bounce back increased from $15 weekly to $20 weekly for August, so we
must be losing more. Our problem is it's a 90 minute drive up so we
don't get to collect all the bounce back. They did comp us a room
last month at the Best Western and we have eaten for free a couple of
times. The cash back is nice, but minimal compared to what we're
losing.
The progressive at Don and Mikes was up to $5700 last Sunday. Has
anyone hit it since? We won a little on quarters and halves and lost
it all pursuing the progressive. We should know better than change
denominations, but we thought it would get hit somewhere between
$5700 and $6000. My wife did hit her first Royal on a half dollar
machine last week. I have yet to hit one at Majestic. I hit two in
Las Vegas in May, one in quarters and the second dollars, but we're
still down for the year. I'm beginning to think we "casual" players
that can't get to the casinos on a full time basis and use all the
comps are doomed to lose. We haven't left a winner very often. Not
complaining, just a little discouraged.
