MS Slot Tournament

I received an invite for a $10K slot tournament in January at
Mohegan. I was wondering if anyone knew what were the typical
benefits besides the tournament. For instance, is there food? If
so what do they have. Gifts? etc

The tournaments I've attended included a buffet meal plus a gift. The gifts
were nothing special and ranged from a popcorn machine to a $100 gift card.

There probably is a big difference in the $10K tournament extras and
the higher level tourneys. I know the higher levels include food and
gift.
Don't think so at $10K.

Does anyone know the criteria for getting invited to one of these? I give
them a fair amount of action but never get invites. I'm beginning to
suspect that since I live close to the casino they figure I'm going to be
there regardless of their invites. Maybe I should start going to Vegas
again!

I've been giving them a good amount of action for the past 8 months
(maybe close to $2 million coin-in total during that time), and only
got my first invite ($25K slot tourney this month) last week. Maybe
it just takes awhile to get on the list?

Thanks. You are probably right. I haven't been giving them that much
action. Guess it shows how popular they are...they don't even bother with
you until you average +$2 million per year.
