MS screws up

MS new software upgrade which was done the end of March is a disaster. The problem is widespread but not sure if it happend to everyone but I know it happened to my wife and myself. The upgrade added a number of trips to many players (somewhere around 5 but not sure of the exact number) and gave them a theo of 0 for those trips. You can only imagine how that is a theo destroyer. They have been working on it for a week but my guess is they have no clue how to correct it. It has already started to affect the offers we are getting. One would think a multi-billion dollar company would test their software to make sure it works. Or do they really care since it affects their players negatively?

My experience with MS software "upgrades" has been pretty bad: a while back,
they tried to put in a multiple ticket redemption feature on the Ticket
Redemption/Bill breaker machines. Long story short, I waited over 2 hours in the
middle of the night to get my cash when the function failed. The tech told me
(on the side, after I told him my son was a computer tech) that they rushed the
software in without properly testing it. They ended up taking it out, and to the
best of my knowledge, never put it back in - not that I really have looked for
it, since once bitten, twice shy.

I find thus very concerning. I essentially doubled my action in my last 2 trips and this would be disastrous. As a Sag I still see no offers except the orchids. What would be the best course of action to find out if one has been affected?

I suspect I ask the wrong person and they will deny anything is wrong.

It does seem as you have someone in the know about these things.

My guess is no one will tell you. You could ask your host but I am sure most of them don't have a clue. If you see you food coupons, free slot play or free points go down then you were probably one of the players affected. It was widespread and all 6 of the people I am friendly with have noticed a decrease in offers starting in May. This happened 3 weeks ago and they still have not corrected it to my knowledge. If I hear things have changed I will post it.

A friend of mine who was a sachem (actually, way more than a sachem) lost his status this go around. He said his host had no explanation for what happened other he made too many trips with no play. Of course he didn't make those trips. Prob really was that computer bug that was mentioned. But his host didn't give a crap.
