MS November Offers

I've never played Blackjack or Pai Gai Poker at MS either. With all of the Chinese writing on the invite, I was tempted to ask if it came with fried rice and an egg roll. I received the bull riding invite also and I am thinking that riding a bull might be fun. I have no idea what they're thinking at MS.

Hi,
I haven't received and gas or gift cards this month but I have

received an offer for a 75K Blackjack tourney the weekend of the 18th-
19th and a 100K Pai Gai Poker Tourney this coming weekend. I'd
consider going to the Pai Gai Poker one if I had any idea what the
hell it was. Also, I'm not sure what the invite says because most of
it is in Chinese. One thing for sure is that these offers are getting
pretty interesting and amusing.

Hi Joel,

I had to laugh because I just received the same two offers, the
Blackjack and the Pai Gai Poker. The poker invite cracked me up with
all the Chinese symbols on it. I have never played either of these
games at MS. Perhaps they should do a little research before they
send these things out. I usually receive invites to most of the shows
also, I just got one the other day to a Professional Bull riding
competition...whats next? Monster Trucks? LOL
Yes it is amusing.

I have gotten the same offers also but will not be going. The number
of mailings from MS has been enormous. This must be their new
marketing scheme

I got invited to the smaller 15K Blackjack tourney and I will be going
to it tonight. It does not cost any money and nothing to lose. It's
played poker tournament style where you just get a set of chips. I
play with no more than 84 people in a session that lasts 75min and
chance to win $1500, $700, or $300.

Actually Pai Gow can be quite easy and you don't have to know any
strategy if you just use the House Way. You have to divide up the
tiles (or cards in Pai Gow poker) into two hands. But you can tell the
Dealer you want to play the House Way (by using the House Way lammer)
and he will divide up your hand for you according to the House Way.
It's very hard to play a strategy that beats the House Way's anyways.
A good page and practice game is at: http://wizardofodds.com/ under
the 'GAMES: Strategies & Free-Play' section.
