For those fed up with the Sun's VP offerings, if you want to try your
hand at table games, the new pit in the Hall of the Lost Tribes
opened up and has all lowest denonmination tables including $5
Blackjack (during less busy times) which they have not had in 2
years. It even has 8 deck cut card (not the auto-shufflers all the
lowest tables usually have) which means you can try counting and you
can still bet up to $1000/hand anyways. Warning: the points you'll
earn will be very small at $5 level.
MS: new pit
Stevie,
You didn't happen to notice if any of those $5.00 tables were 3 Card
Poker by chance?

There might have been one but I do not remember. They've added a lot
of those tables but maybe just because of the tournament. However,
it's not a good play -- better off with good VP. The house advantage
is 2.32% for Pairplus and 2.01% for Ante&Play. That's worse than
short-coin full-pay PKM or short-coin 9/6 JOB. However, the blackjack
rules are liberal (they allow late surrender); house edge .36% w/o
counting on 8 deck games, and .29% on the 4 deck auto-shufflers.
