Any Illini receive their May coupons yet? Ordinarily I wouldn't be
alarmed about the lateness, but since I've received the 5X card and a
slot invitation I figure the coupons may have been mailed at the same
time as one or both of these items.
MS May BB coupons?
I received may coupons on Fri. I did not receive any slot tournament
offers, can you elaborate?

Received BB last week, 5X Saturday and today a $7,500 slot tournament invite
for 5/22. Unfortunately I'll be in Las Vegas for the first string of 5X
points days.

According to MS I was not due to receive any coupons. The explanation is:
1. I cashed all my coupons in February.
2. I hit a jackpot in March.
They acknowledge that my play has *not* fallen off to account for a
reduction to zero and attribute the reduction entirely to the above 2
factors.
It goes without saying that I'm getting totally shafted in this
scenario. I'm just wondering whether this is part of a new MS
austerity program that's being applied to everyone or whether I'm
being singled out for some reason. This marks the first month in
nearly 2 years of play in which I've not received any coupons.
The above 2 factors don't hold up under close examination. Sure, I
cashed coupons in February, but they were for substantial losses in
November & December! All the coupons did was to slightly mitigate the
bleeding. Why am I being punished now for losses in November &
December?? Yes, I hit a Royal on the $.25 progressive in March, but it
was a substantial dryspell in '05 up until then. Again, this type of
accounting is unprecedented at MS.
Although I was given the news by one of the hosts today, I'm still
going to chat with the decision making management personnel. If this
action directed at me is representative of their new coupon policy
then it's going to be a very austere '05 at MS. Other casinos would
undoubtedly be thrilled about such developments though.

The two explanations for your lack of May bb are outrageous. I do
think that things have turned for M/S bb. I do know one person who
has consistently received at least $100 per week since last March,
and he received $30 per week in May. It is clearly advantageous to
pull your card on great deals e.g. 4 of a kind or better. W/L and
length of play not points earned are the key factors.
I have not cracked Trump's bb program, but I have received reasonable
small bb for small play. $10 for less than 200pts ($1600). Does
anyone have a good handle on Trump's cash bb?
Let's hope resorts has a strong bb program.

My wife and I haven't played a lot this year, but I received a $20
weekly and she a $15 weekly. We each got a slot tourney invite, but
neither have received any x times play yet. One of the reasons we
backed off our play this year is we haven't won much for the cash
in. Being out of towners, we only get up about once a month and
they're not giving us much reason to visit more often. I don't
think you're being singled out. Good luck all!
