The 100% point for 9-6 jacks is 4880 coins ($1,220 for quarters). Do not forget that unless you are declaring as a professional gambler you need to add the 3.4% IN state income tax to that calculation. Note that it took 880 coins to get the 0.456% ER addition. Also note that there are some strategy changes: AT suited is played if no penalty cards and most 3RF (Penalties are a little complicated for this!) are better than a high pair.

I think it's something like this: every 100 coins added to the
progressive adds about .5 to the ER. So when the .25 progressive gets
up around $1250, it's positive.

*how* bad. Really not sure what MS is trying to accomplish with this
deployment. No reasonable person is going to play anything but JOB
on
the $.25 progressive and then only when the jackpot is at a
reasonable
level. I'm going to have to dig up the formula that indicates when
the
jackpot amount boosts JOB from 99.54 to 100%.
> That DB2 game is on 5c Multi-Strikes at the Majestic Star. Full
pay
DB2 is 25-12 (WRF and SF) and is on 25c, 50c and $1 Multi-Strike as
well as the $1 progressive at the bar. Now (I think) only seven $1
games.
Actually 8. There were 16 total $1 bartops prior to the conversion
which affected half.I'm beginning to think there's something fishy going on with
Multi-Strike at MS. Despite the fact that I'm playing Multi-Strike
NSUD nearly perfectly (I quiz myself on Frugal regularly) and am
playing a huge number of hands, my results are actually much worse.
It
seems that since about the June timeframe Multi-Strike cycles have
become much larger than what theory indicates. I have not hit a
Royal
since April, have hit deuces only in cycles 4x expected, and even
wild
royals and 5oak are much less frequent than expected. What I'm
experiencing has ceased to be just bad luck and is now well into the
realm of the statistically suspicious. Even more significant is that
this phenomenon doesn't seem to be limited to me, I've only seen 1
jackpot win by someone else since April. Last but not least has
anyone
else noticed the sharp drop off in winners announced over the
intercom
system? I actually asked if they changed their policy regarding
announcements of winners but supposedly it has not changed. If that
is
true then why are there noticeably fewer winners now then in the
first
half of the year? Especially when the casino is packed and no seats
are to be found?? I'm going to take a few more stabs at Multi-Strike
but if the cycles start approaching 7x MS management and the gaming
board are going to be meeting with me to provide explanations for
what
I've observed over the course of the year.
