Now I am just confused. I got my bb and it was for the same as last month,
but my husband got nothing. He did play a little (mainly he plays live poker)
video poker, but according to various posts here some of you who played not at
all still got bb coupons. So why did he, who played some, got nothing, while
some who played none got something?
Any thoughts?

There are some knowledgable Majestic vp veterans (some who post in
this forum, some who don't) that have arrived at the conclusion that
whatever formula is being used takes into account which machine one
plays on and also the denomination. It doesn't seem to take into
account the particular vp game one plays on a machine offering
different games with different paytables. This can translate into
situations where player A gets a nice coupon bounty by playing very
little but on the right machine whereas player B who played
substantially more on the wrong machine gets nothing. Hint: machines
with bad paytables which are heavily used seem to count more in the
secret MS formula. An astute player could get a good coupon ROI by
limiting their play on these machines to just the one game that is
full pay on these machines. However, you usually have to wait in line
to get on these machines. Or to simply avoid all this just cycle
enough coins through to be so far above the threshold that you always
get the max coupons. I frequently have days on which my coin-in
exceeds what most players cycle through in a month so I don't fret
over what I need to do to get the coupon max. I do keep detailed
records though just in case I get an unpleasant surprise.

thought I would add my experience to this evolving database
I started playingjestic in March of this year and got my first set of
bb coupons in May for 4x $125 + $50 food wow! I had just reached the
4000 star level I was totally blown away by that bb got the same
amount in June with approx same monthly play 2000-2500 pts In July and
Aug. got 4x$100 + $50 + $50 food not sure why the drop Ibelieve my
play has been roughly the same or slightly higher...I play mostly 90%+
the penny 100 play video poker...mostly bonus deluxe but get a little
bored with it and roam to some of the worse games occasionally

BDLX on the 100 plays seems to be the ticket. Of course if you're not
dealt quads it can be the death of a 1000 cuts. I'm always amazed to
see people playing games on these that are much worse than BDLX.

Maybe that shouldn't surprise me. Severeral weeks ago I arrived early
at MS only to find someone already nailed to the only nickel machine
that offers full pay JW2. Instead of just letting this aggravate me
all morning long I decided to offer this woman $5 for moving to one of
the adjacent nickel JOB machines. "Oh no, no. I have to be on this
machine! Why do you want to be on this machine?". At which point I
explained the machine she was sitting at was the only nickel machine
that offered full pay JW2. "But these other machines have Joker
Wild!". I politely pointed out that the Joker Wild games are clearly
not the same as is evident from their paytables. She turned around
with a dazed look and said "Paytables?".

I've had similar experiences...Harrah's recently added a group of 8
good single play quarter machines, the last I was there there was one
other person playing the good machines while all of the lousy
machines 3 ft. away were full...it seems that people are not only
indifferent, but, actually Demand bad pay schedules! note ther is a
sing above the good machines that states these machine have 99+%
payback so ignorance of pay schedules doesn't even explain this
phenomenon.
Do you have any wisdom to share on the Majestic's monthly cashback,
I'm still trying to find the sweet-spot of play to maximize cashback.
